Financial Matters       Email   Print

The information contained in Financial Matters is provided by Concordia Plan Services of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. It's purpose is to equip church workers and their families with the information and tools needed for personal financial management.

It is our hope that, by mastering the basics, church workers will be freed from the stress, anxiety, and burden of struggling with money matters, which in turn will help make their lives joyful and free to reflect exemplary ministry and service as they witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to help church workers see the importance of (and then commit to) the principles of managing their finances in a God-pleasing way.

These materials, presentations, and resources are founded on the eight "Biblical Stewardship Principles" outlined by the Department of Stewardship of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and presented to the 1998 Synodical Convention.  Click on the link for the Biblical Stewardship Principles, including scripture references and personal questions to consider.
